New Units Closed for a short time

Well a new year, means a new challenge. Another dirty hacker has found their way into ECU, fortunately with the processes we have in place already, it means the only thing they have managed to effect is the product search tables. This has meant that search has been working intermittently for the past 24 hours or so. We are taking the steps to close this area for a short time, whilst we verify and rebuild the product data.

So for the next 24 hours or so, you may notice the product search area is closed for you, or indeed, the search doesn’t work as you would expect.

Some product data may be lost when we do the clean up, this does not affect your units, only the product data we use when you conduct a search for new products.

We apologise for any inconvenience that you may experience over this period, we are working hard to restore all functionality back to the product search area, so you can get back to creating units.

We must reiterate your units should continue to display as normal, links out will work, it’s only the creation of new units, and adding new products to existing units which is affected.
